When you book a routine consultation at Glenvale Veterinary Clinic, Rohan will carry out a general physical examination of your pet to establish its overall health. We’ll also discuss any concerns you may have about your pet and will be able to identify any noticeable problems. If further examination is required, we can then arrange for blood tests or X-rays to be carried out onsite. This may require admitting your pet to our clinic, where we’ll take good care of them until you return.
We advise that pets receive an annual check-up to ensure quick detection of any issues, as animals age faster than humans and their health can alter unexpectedly. This means we can intervene before any conditions become more serious and is particularly recommended for mature and senior pets, where twice yearly health checks are best.
