With over 40 years’ experience, Rohan is our clinic’s resident veterinary surgeon and has been at our practice since joining as a graduate some years ago. He previously completed a Diploma in Agriculture at Roseworthy Agricultural College, before studying Veterinary Science at Melbourne University. Rohan graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours in 1973. Committed to ongoing professional development, Rohan regularly attends conferences (at least two weeks per year) to stay up to date with information on disease processes, treatments and preventions. During his time at our clinic, he’s developed a strong bond with clients and their pets, and his own cat, Schnooks, is often seen around the practice!

Outside work, Rohan enjoys jogging daily, a round of golf, and a glass of French champagne, as well as watching his beloved Geelong Cats win a game!

Passionate about animals from an early age, veterinary nurse Jacquie joined Glenvale in 2008 and has since completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Animal Industries Resource Centre (October 2011).

Dedicated to her job, Jacquie has become a much-valued member of the team and her calm and confident personality is great for working with the animals in her care.

In her spare time, Jacquie and her husband Mark enjoy camping, snowboarding and various other outdoor activities with their fur child Roxy the Golden Retriever. Roxy has a very cheeky personality and will always greet you with a present in her mouth!

Emma joined our practice in 2009 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the AIRC in March 2012. Prior to this, she completed a Certificate II in Travel and Tourism, before deciding to follow her passion and work with animals.

Keen to develop her skills further, Emma would like to complete further education and training, including pet grooming and equine and large animal studies. Passionate about her job, Emma is extremely compassionate towards all of the patients at the clinic and treats them as she would her own. Emma lives with her husband Kayne and their Blue Staffy fur babies, Sadie and Barney and is currently on Maternity Leave after welcoming baby Darcy to the family!

Ashleigh joined Glenvale in 2013 and is working towards completing a Certificate IV in Vet Nursing, after finishing her Certificate II in Animal Studies.

A very important part of the team, Ashleigh also holds a wildlife licence, so is our primary carer for all sorts of wild animals, including native birds, possums and even reptiles!

Her love for animals and their well-being is obvious to see in the care and attention she shows every patient. At home, Ashleigh lives with her family, which includes two-year-old Maltese Shih Tzu Archie, her Thoroughbred horse Toppa, a Diamond Python called Nyoka, cheeky Torti Phoebe and 2 noisy Rainbow Lorikeets, Juddy and Kevin.
