Dr.Rohan Nicholls

Dr.Rohan Nicholls B.V.Sc(Hons)

Rohan attended Roseworthy Agricultural College  and graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture before going onto Melbourne University to study Veterinary Science. In 1973 Rohan earned his  Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours. He joined Glenvale Vet Clinic as a graduate and soon took over the clinic as the sole vet.

He regularly attends conferences (at least 2 weeks per year) ensuring that he is kept up to date with current information on disease processes, treatments and preventions.

Dr Nicholls has been in practice for over 40 years in which he has developed a strong bond with clients and their pets.

Outside the clinic Rohan enjoys daily jogging, a round of golf and a glass of French champagne. He has a cat, Schnooks who is often seen around the clinic!

Jacquie Hayward

Jacquie joined Glenvale in 2008. She has always had a love of animals and a keen passion to become a Vet nurse and since joining Glenvale, she has completed Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Animal Industries Resource Centre in October 2011. She enjoys learning new things every day and would love to increase her knowledge of the industry by studying a Diploma of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care.

She has a very calm, confident personality when combined with her dedicated work ethic has seen her become an important member of our team.

In her spare time, Jacquie enjoys camping, snowboarding and plenty of other outdoor activities where her 3 year old Golden Retriever Roxy can tag along. Roxy has a very cheeky personality and won't come to greet you unless she has a present in her mouth to offer!

Emma Medcalf

Emma Medcalf

Emma joined the practice in 2009 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the AIRC in March 2012. Before deciding to become a  vet nurse Emma completed a Certificate II in Travel and Tourism, then decided to follow her passion and join the animal care industry.  

Emma would like to increase her knowledge and skills in the industry through further education and training, including Equine & Large Animal studies.
She not only loves her work but one of her most admirable qualities is her incredibly compassionate nature towards all our patients. Emma maintains a strong passion for all animals, be it her own or our clients.
At home Emma lives with her family,  Annie the horse and her beautiful 13 year old spoodles Daisy and Rosie.

Ashleigh Tidd

Ashleigh finished school in 2012 & is currently studying Certificate II in Animal Studies & would love to go on & complete Certificate IV in Vet nursing. Ashleigh has always had a passion for animals; this is reflected in the care & attention she has shown towards our patients in the short time she has been with us.
At home, Ashleigh lives with her family which includes a 13 year old English Collie named Maverick & her Thoroughbred horse Toppa.
