ROHAN NICHOLLS B.V.Sc (Hons) R.D.A
With over 40 years’ experience, Rohan is our clinic’s resident veterinary surgeon and has been at our practice since joining as a graduate some years ago. He previously completed a Diploma in Agriculture at Roseworthy Agricultural College, before studying Veterinary Science at Melbourne University. Rohan graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours in 1973. Committed to ongoing professional development, Rohan regularly attends conferences (at least two weeks per year) to stay up to date with information on disease processes, treatments and preventions. During his time at our clinic, he’s developed a strong bond with clients and their pets, and his own cat, Marvin, is often seen around the practice!
Outside work, Rohan enjoys jogging daily, a glass of French champagne, as well as watching his beloved Geelong Cats win a game!
JACQUIE COLEMAN
Passionate about animals from an early age, veterinary nurse Jacquie joined Glenvale in 2008 and has since completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Animal Industries Resource Centre (October 2011).
Dedicated to her job, Jacquie has become a much-valued member of the team and her calm and confident personality is great for working with the animals in her care.
In her spare time, Jacquie, her husband Mark and children Lenny & Zoe enjoy camping, snowboarding and various other outdoor activities with their fur child Roxy the Golden Retriever. Roxy has a very cheeky personality and will always greet you with a present in her mouth!
ASHLEIGH WARREN-SMITH
Ashleigh joined Glenvale in 2013 while finishing her Certificate II in Animal Studies, and then completed her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing in 2019.
A very important part of the team, Ashleigh also holds a wildlife licence, so is our primary carer for all sorts of wild animals, including native birds, possums and even reptiles!
Her love for animals and their well-being is obvious to see in the care and attention she shows every patient. At home, Ashleigh lives with her husband Callum and her fur family, which includes Maltese Shih-Tzu Archie, a Diamond Python called Nyoka, and cats Phoebe and Betty.
COURTENAY POTTER
Courtenay joined the Glenvale team early in 2018 and she completed her Cert II in Animal Studies in 2019. She is currently working full time as well as studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing! She is loving her time at Glenvale and has fitted well into the team.
Court lives at home with her family, her horse Belle, Golden Retriever Cooper and 2 chickens.
In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and teaching lessons as well as walking Cooper and watching Collingwood football club play.
EBONY STEVENS
Ebony joined the Glenvale Team in October 2021 and is already showing fantastic nursing skills. She has completed her Cert II in Animal studies and is currently studying her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill Tafe.
Ebony lives at home on a farm with her family including dogs, cats and many horses. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and catching up with friends.
